Messaging Policy
Last updated June 21, 2026
This Messaging Policy describes ari’s SMS text-messaging program — who receives messages, how customers consent, what we send, and how to opt out. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and applies to the text messages ari sends on behalf of the home-services businesses that use it.
01About ari and this messaging program
Inconel operates ari, an always-on AI front desk used by home-services businesses — trades such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and similar operators. On behalf of the business, ari answers calls and texts, responds to inquiries, books estimates and appointments, and follows up on open quotes. Some of that communication takes place over SMS text message.
Everyone ari texts is a customer or prospective customer of the business who contacted that business directly. We do not buy, rent, or upload phone-number lists, and we never text anyone who has not contacted the business or agreed to be texted during a direct interaction.
02How customers opt in to texts
Consent is always tied to a direct interaction the customer started. There are two ways it happens — and both are required to be a deliberate, opt-in action, never a condition of buying anything.
1. You text or call the business
When you send a text to the business’s number, or call and ask to be helped by text, you are asking us to reply by SMS. ari (or a team member) responds to your message and continues the conversation — answering questions, booking your estimate, and following up on your quote — at the number you contacted us from.
2. You give consent on a phone call
When you speak with ari or a team member by phone, we ask whether it is okay to text you about your request before sending any message. We read the disclosure below and log your consent with the date, time, and phone number. We text you only after you say yes.
The disclosure provided at opt-in
By contacting the business or giving consent on a call, you agree to receive text messages from the business you contacted (sent using ari) about your inquiry, appointment, estimate, or service — including replies, confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
03What we send
Messages relate only to the service you contacted the business about, such as:
- Replies and answers to your questions
- Estimate and appointment confirmations and reminders
- Follow-ups on open or pending quotes
- Scheduling and dispatch updates
Example messages
These are illustrative — the business’s own name appears in the actual messages.
04Frequency, rates, and how to stop
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with the business. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. You are always in control:
Text “STOP”
Unsubscribe at any time. We send one confirmation, then no further messages.
Text “HELP”
Get help. We reply with support info, or reach us at tim@inconel.ai.
Text “START”
Opt back in after you have unsubscribed.
Message frequency varies · Message & data rates may apply · Consent is not a condition of purchase
05Your privacy
We use your information only to communicate with you on behalf of the business you contacted, and we never sell it.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties under any circumstances.
Full details are in our Privacy Policy, and the terms governing the service are in our Terms of Service (both linked below).
